Organiser

The HyKr Build Challenge (the “Challenge”) is run by HyKr Venture Studio LLC (“HyKr”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By submitting an application, you (“Participant”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Eligibility

• Intended for idea-stage and early-stage founders/teams.
• Solo founders and teams may apply, subject to any team size limits stated on the form.
• HyKr may reject or disqualify entries that are ineligible, incomplete, or misleading.

Entry and process

• Apply only via the official online form on hykr.studio.
• The Challenge may include multiple stages (screening, interviews, pitches, final review).
• Evaluation and selection are done by HyKr and its advisors using criteria such as problem clarity, solution strength, team, and alignment with HyKr.
• All selection decisions are final and at HyKr’s sole discretion.

Prizes and studio consideration

• Winners/finalists may receive cash and/or non-cash prizes as described on the Challenge page.
• Prizes are non-transferable and may be substituted if needed.
• Winning does not guarantee admission to HyKr Studio or investment.
• Winners may be fast-tracked into an accelerated review stage (e.g. Investment Committee-level discussions), but any studio or investment offer is subject to separate evaluation and agreements.

Intellectual property

• You retain ownership of your idea and IP.
• By applying, you grant HyKr a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your submissions only to run and evaluate the Challenge and to assess fit for HyKr Studio.
• You confirm you have the right to submit the materials and that they do not infringe others’ rights.

Publicity

• HyKr may use your name, startup name, logo (if shared), and a short non-confidential description of your idea to announce shortlisted teams, finalists, and winners, and to promote the Challenge.
• HyKr will not publish full decks or sensitive materials without your consent, unless you have already made them public.

Conduct and disqualification

• You agree to be honest in your application and to behave respectfully toward HyKr staff, mentors, evaluators, and other founders.
• HyKr may disqualify any Participant for false information, rule violations, or behaviour that harms the integrity or reputation of the Challenge.

Data and privacy

Personal data collected through the Challenge is processed in line with the HyKr Privacy Policy available at hykr.studio/privacy-policy. By entering, you acknowledge and accept that policy.

Liability

• As far as the law allows, HyKr and its team will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your participation or from accepting any prize.
• HyKr is not responsible for technical issues, lost or corrupted entries, or other problems beyond its reasonable control.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian Law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Hyderabad.
